The NS Reading Heritage unit passes through Altoona, PA in July 2015.

A trip back in time was the theme for the club's 2015 railfanning trip to Ohio and Pennsylvania. We saw Heritage Units as well as a pair of cabooses still in service.

Train Show - 2015 Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee Model Railroad Show

Overview of the 2015 Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee Model Railroad Show.

As the club continues to venture into new regions with our layout, we made the trip up to New Hampshire for the annual Dartmouth/Lake Sunapee Model Railroad Show in North Sutton, NH.  The club displayed a 20'x36' HO scale layout and had a great time.

Train Show - 2014 Conard High School

The 2014 Conard High School Train Show.

The club setup an HO layout in support of the West Hartford Technology Student Association at Conard High School in West Hartford, CT.  The club had an encore display of it's 16'x36' HO scale layout which won First Place at the National Train Show in Cleveland, OH over the summer.

Train Show - 2014 National Train Show

What a trip!  We traveled a long way from our home in Connecticut to the shores of Lake Erie for the 2014 National Train Show. A group of 10 members made the trek with a 26'x36' HO scale modular layout.

Train Show - 2014 National Train Day

2014 National Train Day at New London Union Station.

To celebrate this year's National Train Day on May 10, 2014, the club was asked by Amtrak to setup a display inside the New London Union Station.  The club displayed a 12'x20' HO scale layout and had a great time.

Keystone Bound - Club Trip 2013

The club being interviewed by the local paper during the 2013 club trip.

The 2013 edition of the club railfan trip brought the club backs to some of our favorite hot spots but also included some new destinations.  The group was able to see the Age of Steam roundhouse as well as take a tour of a model railroad club in Lewistown, PA.

Danbury and Garden State Northern Day Trip

A ride through the Danbury Railway Museum in April 2013.

 The club was again invited to visit the Garden State Northern model railroad club in North Haledon, NJ.  It was a great trip and the group coupled the visit with a stop at the Danbury Railway Museum.
