Another successful Railroad Hobby Show is in the books for the Mohegan Pequot Model Railroad Club. Once again, the club displayed its HO and G scale modular railroads inside the Young Building.

Club Trip 2010

Perfect weather and plenty of rail traffic highlighted the club's annual railfan adventures through Ohio and Pennsylvania.  The members visited many of the regular spots including Fostoria, Deshler, Altoona, and Enola.

As word of the fun we've had on the club trips has spread to the rest of the membership, the 2010 saw the largest group head west to watch trains.  We visited some great railfan spots over a six-day period in July.

Train Show - 2009 National Train Show

Over the past week, the National Train Show rolled through our back yard in Hartford, CT.  The club setup our HO layout as part of the three day show at the Connecticut Convention Center.

Train Show - 2008 Cheshire High School

The Cheshire Show is one of the more enduring local train shows in Connecticut. Held at the Cheshire High School, the show benefits the High School’s excellent marching band, and has been running strong for well over 20 years. This year’s show was as enjoyable as ever. Attendance is typically strong, and the line outside the front door of the High School was evidence that this year was no exception.

On The Road to Ohio Again - Club Trip 2008

The Norfolk Southern OCS proceeds east through Fostoria, OH.

The 2008 club trip included some rare treats - in not just one - but two railroad's executive trains.  The timing was perfect as was this railfan adventure through Ohio and Pennsylvania.
